Thanks Mike, I see what you mean, it is going to be a pain in the neck to grind back the weld from a mig, think I might be needing a dremel.

I plucked up the courage to have a go at repairing this today.

It was easy enough to make the repair section, the biggest pain was hand filing the welds down as my grinder wouldnt fit down the right hand side :)

Thats nice, you did well there, did you use the dremel?

No, but if I had had the money in the bank I would have bought one, after the first 20 minutes with the needle file :)
