Hi,

we go to a campsite in llangollen called Wern Isaf. it's a basic place, but the setting is lovely. it's a working farm and is great for kids, and there's a small castle up on the hill behind called Dinas Bran which looks really eirey in the evening. the owners are friendly and its a short 15min walk to to the pubs and nice sites of llangolen.

have fun.

We were in snowdonia last month. Camped 2 days on the forrestry site (miles of forrest/hill walking from the van) After that we moved to wild camping 1/2 mile up the road. Didn't see another human in 3 days
