Good article in march's Volksworld camper&bus.One of only 5 prototypes ever built !! didn't know any still existed.How would you like that parked on yer drive ?? Wat's it worth ?? Mega euro's !!!!!!!!

That looks like the same one,residing in the Wolfsburg museum,sounds like there's another one about ??? Hen's teeth springs to mind!!!!!

I think so, the museum bay westy is still running. In 2007 the gearbox had a malfunction, and it was repared by the same guys who developed the car in the 70s. They are already working at Volkswagen.

I crawled under that van to take pictures of the drive train and I was asked what I was doing! They dont like people doing that I think!

There are some black sheep out there, In 2010 we saw a man who sat in the bay westy at the "Techno Classica" Oldtimer fair in Essen (Germany) and he tried to steal some parts out of the van, fortunately we saw it...
