Hi, My Caravelle doesnt have a standard rear heater coming off the coolant pipes. I would like to install one maybe, but is it worth the trouble?
Or shall I go for the camping heaters? can these be used while driving along.
Or is there non-VW heaters which also run off the coolant that are better, T4 or T5?
is it worth installing standard rear heater from scratch

My opinion - No, don't bother.
I ripped mine out and ebayed. it.
There's a propex in it's place now (I don't use it on the move).

I've heard it can be done, although a fiddle. A shop on ebay was selling one stating if you need the electrics etc to go with it, they can supply them. (I think it was T25 direct).
Ours sprang a leak so I disconnected it, I did miss the heat on my back when driving as the hightop drew all the heat into the roof.
If I remember rightly, a Propex can be used whilst driving.

Hi,
Does it have the plastic heating duct that takes warm air from the front heater, if not how about fitting one which can be used when driving and then a propex/ebber for camping.
