Roughly what did that Santander ferry cost at that time of year?

Cheers

Clive, you can get an inside cabin for 2 people, and my van is over 5 mtrs so a bit cheaper for a T25 I think,,,and I think Rob is looking at getting a bulk discount with BF, and you can get sleeper seats but not recommended.

I'm definitely thinking of going on this as I retire in April, so we can share a cabin,,,I bunk in with whatshername :ok :ok

I've only just got to reading this as we didn't have a syncro when the idea was floated. I'm not sure we've got much of a syncro right now, but that's another story!
We could certainly do with a decent family vacation with some friends if I can persuade the mem'sahib... Is the general concensus for the October half term then? Is it going to be a "fun offroad whenever possible" trip or would coming along in a slightly less uneconomical but more comfy 2WD bus be ok?
In otherwords, would we miss out on much?
My sister speaks quite good Spanish too, hangers-on allowed? I'll lend her'n'him a T3 as their Toyota camper is truly awful :rofl

Really pleased with the number of people interested in visiting my part of the world. I'll confirm dates for the trip early next year but it's looking good for October half term week.

As I say the only restriction is the number of vehicles allowed off-road. It would be great to see more vans either 4wd or 2wd, although it would be even better if they were all T3's!!

Even if you don't get your van off-road there is still plenty to do in the area. Just google 'Picos de Europa National Park or Parque Nacional de Picos de Europa'.

Happy Christmas from Cantabria!!

Been watching this and provisionally run it by the boss and got the thumbs up.

if it does fit in with school term times is anyone planning on bringing their young ones?

we have two boys Jonathan & Jake who will be 8 and 6 in October so would be great if there were other children going.

Hi All

Is anybody able to confirm the dates for October half term week? Is it the same across the UK?

I think another show of hands at this stage would be a good idea so I can confirm numbers. Please could you also let me know if you're looking to do the 'off-roading' element of the trip. As I've mentioned before this will be restricted to 10 vehicles.

Thanks

Rob
