can anyone tell me where i might get gas struts for an autohomes kamper, also any other parts for this roof.

Try http://www.autovan.co.uk They do repairs and replacements. They do complete new caps. They must do struts. Or you can get gas struts made up to the same spec as your old ones by any gas strut manufacturer. I got mine from Alrose Products Ltd in Peterborough 01778 560228. The spec was Gas spring G14 28 350 1100V A27/A27 330N, Black Body, HCP rod, S1.

When fitting them, compress them with a ratchet strap if necessary.

What other bits do you need?
1.9D (AEF) pop-top. Aaaaahhhhh........that's better.

thanks colin, my gas struts are ok now i have refitted them. autovans wanted £350 for them i found someone else who do them for £24.95 each .

i have a autohomes kamper roof that i'll be getting off the van in the near future. much of it is knackered but some bits are still good. let me know if you need anything. I'll be selling a few bits and bobs
