those auto dimming masks any good? i see they're at better prices now, just wondering if the cheap ones are any cop...

I've been well happy with it for what I do, sub £40 toolstation I think it was, I only do a bit of mig body repairs or build up work and now this, use it set at 11+ for mig and turned it down to 9 for this, had it a few years and haven't broke it; I struggled with old fixed mask, lifting and aiming dropping and striking and too dark to see what I was doing well, fine for industrial in well lit environment with trained pro and practice I guess but this is good for amateur in mixed environment. Old mask useful for protecting anyone needed to hold something close to where you're welding so still have it.

even i can lay pidgeon "pooh" whith an auto darkening helmet
ine was £28 delivered,with spare lenses, i'll find the link when i get 5
