hi i am compleatly revamping my van and have had a few threads on here .. at the muinet i am at the stage of fitting a new headlining but am not sure how to do it , i was thinking of just carpeting it for the cost wise but am not really sure on how to do it , dose any one have any advise on how to do it or on whatother material to do it with ?:P

Hi

just done the cab headlining using perforated vinyl and the template in the wiki,
Its come out not to bad at all it needs a little streching to take a couple of the creases out but very nearly a factory look.
I'll post some pics when I get a chance.

hi , cheers yeah i think i will do that , how wide dose it need to be though as it dosnt say on the template ...also i am going to put a pop top on my van , how do i do that with my new headlineing , the hole ect ...

Hi,

the width dosent matter (oooeeerrr) as you will be trimming it to fit, I made mine the width of the material 1.4 m, I used this

it sews up quite nicly

mine is only for the cab you can see where the rods make a nice crease and that I have one or two other creases to sort out, but its not as hard as it seems at first.
