It says simple DIY fitment.
How simple is that exactly and how difficult is it to remove the old ones?
Can it be done comfortably without ramps?

Straight forward job, an hour and a half inc a coffee.

Sometimes the remains of the old bushes have to be pulled out using threaded bar, nuts, washers and a suitably large socket.

Axle stands were sufficient.

I don't have any axle stands. Maybe a convenient kerb will suffice?

More questions

Recommend any brand?
And what rating do they need to be?
Where is best to locate on the chassis, front and back?
