Finally had a day welding etc! ITS BEEN PAINTED!!!!

well after two 12 hour night shifts which saw me have 7 hours kip in 48 hours, made a start again on the van with help from my dad managed to make up 3 doors for the cupboards laminated up the edges of the work top, fitted my gaslow refillable gas bottle and pipe work, and got the 240v hook up started !!

Got a load more 240v hook up stuff done today, just the sockets to fit once carpeted, more insulation gone in, bed light, awning light, most of 12v wired up, one drawer done two more not far off done, all in a busy day!

its a labcraft astro awning light, got it from ebay! dunno how bright it is, but there high intensity leds, completely sealed too!

Got all the doors mounted and the catches fitted, sliding door all insulated and door card all on, fridges 75% sorted !!

More 12v electrics tomorrow and start on gas, propex and water tank and pump!

Oh and chhers to Quagmire for finding the name plate at Run To The Hills last year finally got it mounted!!!

where its mounted, gives a direct access to where the light hole inside over the slider :ok

:ok (about being bright not ya van nicked!!)

Getting there now, rock and roll seat fixed in properly, propex in (needs wired up), rear bed base in, all gas system plumbed in, leisure battery in (finally back on the solar charger again!) To warm to do any more blooming boiling!

got loads of bits and bobs done today water pump in, propex all wired up and tested, boxed propex in, fitted front of rock and roll bed with holes fro propex and speakers, wanged a load of vanish on all wood work all nice and shiney now! Gonna either get underslung water tank on tomorrow or start on carpeting the walls, all depends how I feel !

Looks good, though if yours is anything like mine you'll feel the extra weight when driving.. :roll: well I never wanted to go fast.. :lol:
