Im looking to upgrade my clutch using the method listed in the Wiki.
The trouble i'm finding is getting hold of the separate parts....
Ive managed to find a price for the pressure plate (VR6) but i cant find anyone who will sell me a 2.1WBX friction plate as a seperate item, GSF for instance will only sell the entire clutch kit.
Has anyone who has done this conversion got any advice about where to get the separate bits?

Re: Diesel uprated clutch
the friction plate is available as it's own part, i'll try and look up the partnumber on a complete kit box, there are three part numbers and they can get the one one their own, most good motor factors should be able to order from luk, and europarts do sachs so worth trying them if local, I'll only be able to find the luk part number, Russel uses them I've seen them, just never ordered one, mind luk/shaeffler group in a bit of a poor position so somethings may take time
