Hang on ...Surely you want as much cheap fuel as you can get.. I had the big 70 litre tank under the bed ..and I still have room for tat

Well thats a pretty retrospect question is it not Simon, if it hung too low it would not meet the standard, so by logic it will not hang low will it?

Eh? I didnt say it didnt meet regs... (as I know you wouldnt have fitted it if it didnt) Ok, what maybe I should have said was "low comparitvly to the sill"..... :ok what dimension is that tank then? 55L is a reasonable capacity for under the "sill" wasnt anything available that when I did my conversion all them years ago.. (havent looked since..) all were to big a diameter or were short..

I opted for a smaller tank to keep virtually all my storage space free and the spare in the front. Getting lpg is a lot easier these days even with a limited range of around 140 miles on a 36 ltr cylinder tank. Bigger tank would be better for Hols in Europe when touring and you want to clock up the miles without stops or LPG isn't as widely available. I use my van mainly in the UK so the 'tiddler' suits me fine.

With the 55l tank [or any size LPG tank] it only fills to 80%, so is a very small tank. Not a problem if you don't mind filling up a lot. I went for the bigger one in the wardrobe and would actually still like it bigger, i might get the spare wheel one as well and run them in tandem

iirc the donut tanks went out of stock due to the company that made the valve?? went out of business

Just out of curiousity how near are the donut tanks to coming back in Steve?
