westy gas
the previous owner of my westy has by passed the underslung lpg tank and fitted a calor gas bottle.it has gas but I can,t get the appliances working.does anyone know of anyone who could re-attach the gas tank and service the appliances,preferably in or near Northampton? thanks.

The only place I would recommend is gasure ,but they are in Chester .you could try elite vw there in Essex .but having not used them I can't say how good they are .hope this helps .

Before you go spending hard earned cash, have you checked all the basics?
Is there gas in the bottle? Does it have the right regulator? Are the inline gas valves in the 'on' position? Is gas getting through to the appliances? Are you pushing the control knob in while lighting?
Sorry if you already checked this, just trying to save you a few bob.

It might be a good idea to get it all checked over anyway, especially the rubber hoses which could well need replacing.
