attaching tie backs to the camper

Hi
i need to attach my curtain tie backs to the camper body, i know what the bits are, just dont know what they are called...they are the things that have a screw and a cover once screwed in(if that helps)
any ideas?

not really a tech question more camping..

but you'll need self tapping screw with a drill tip.. and some press-studs

Found a much better way to do them than that. Dunelm (think they have branches most places) do large screw on press studs. Think the packet refers to them as yacht studs or similar. Part of it is screwed permanently to van and the other to the tie back. The kit comes with tool to puncture tie back and fix press stud. Doing it that way means tie backs can be removed if need be to be washed or removed altogether if you don't need curtains in there for some reason. Kit is £7 and enough in there to do all curtains in the camper.

Will post a pic when its daylight so you can see how they work.

I also used PRYM YACHT & CARAVAN 15mm PRESS SNAP FASTENERS. They were easy to screw to the van ( I did mine through the actual tie back material) or you can use the popper so it can be removed.

Yep, they're the fellas. Perfect solution. You can also run a line of them level with rear seat and make a vinyl rectangle (stretchy type) that will hide all your stuff sitting over the engine. You simply pop it on or off for access.
