High Torque Starter Motor

Hello,

Had my Subaru 2.2 l engine put in by the pros cause i'm not that good at the mechanical side of things and within a week my old starter motor went. So I brought a high torque starter motor from SSP which I fitted today, great, I thought I get to drive my van.

The van wont start, the starter motor is turning but not catching, just spining. Any ideas?

Anyone out there with subaru engines, what exhaust do you have, as I said I have jut had mine fitted but it sounds like a race car (or Nova).

Any help would be much appreciated.
