Haha yep!
After owning a car in 'show' shape for years its so nice to have a beat up old van you can leave anywhere! No worry of people scratching it, nooobody in the world will steal it, and you rarely feel the need to wash it and waxing would never cross your mind!

Watch this space!!!!
If you need any help lend it to my wife!!!
I'm all for the bumps and scratches too! I've got an "Ouch" sticker (pinched from my little 'uns box of plasters) on my bumper next to a dent caused by me. Over another dent (caused by someone else) which included the bolt, I painted a big black spider (the bolt was meant to be its head...) but I got a bit bored and it ended up looking like a lobster ...

Might need quite a long slider extension, mind
Ive been pondering this notion for sometime, when i bought my van 18months ago it was honest and rusty, no i mean plain rusty. ha ha. Ive replaced all four arches, steps sliding door sill, sliding door, boot lid, and passenger door, and that strip above front bumper (they all seem to go there).
I have however, i spent money on all new suspension and bushes, engine and nice alloys. Like your van, it watertight and used most days and i currently dont have the £2000-3000 required for a good paint job.
Here's mine, not sure that it's totally Rat.
Got it for 650 off ebay, I'm slowly doing bits and bobs it's rusty as "feck" - But I'm just going to do a Panel at a time, back to bare metal fix all the holes - and sprayed Satin Black again...
She's not as neglected as my poor wife
Single cab pickup, running 1996 Subaru WRX STI engine, Aiden talbot gearbox.
They look awesome on wide rims.I ran 9" up front and 10" out the back with room to spare but you WILL need a door extension.
