daft question - do you need a ladder :-)

Post by Tallulah43 »

This will be a really really daft question......
We pick our first ever 1983 1.6D T25 up in a few days and we wondered how you actually get up to the top bed.

I have visions of my hubby doing monkey swings to try and get up......not pretty

Do you need a ladder or just stand on the kitchen :D

told you it was a bit of a doh question

I cant get up to ours!! but I am the size of a small heffalump!
we use ours for storing everything and use the rock n roll bed. But our friends have to lift up their kiddies to get them in theirs...... :D
I can imagine if I ever did manage to get up there it would be the most histerical thing to watch me trying to get down again!!!!! :rofl
Does my ass look big in this?!

We use the leg up and drag technique, similar to Ians :)

Getting down we use the dangle your foot and when it hits something hard go for it and hope the lid is down on the portaloo, technique :ok

Thanks for all the replies and the welcomes.

We are picking it up tonight so will try out different ways....foot on back of hubby is my thought

have 3 small tiddlers so my 4 year old will have fun trying (and no doubt falling out of it) my other 2 are younger so wouldn't trust them with a barge pole unless we were camped in a hospital car park.

Wish me luck in hoping that we get it home without breaking down tonight...we have to drive 55 mile to get it home :-)

I bet your face hurts from smiling by the time you get back. I had to drive about 80 miles to pick mine up and I haven't stopped smiling since.
Martin.

Diesel is an engine not a fuel.

I liked camping so much I went full time.
