Re: Killed my bus
All sorted for £25. The relay had burnt out and the vss was stealing the ground to the ECU or summat.

Re: Killed my bus
Pep,
Just a quick note, my Cosworth brain has a VSS signal it requires. At present I have it blanked off the the engine appears to run.
When I spoke to the guys on the Cosworth forum, someone who was well gemmed up said it did need a signal otherwise I will start seeing problems as it is learning to run again. However he did mention connecting it to the Tacho so it sees a signal.
My question to you is what is your VSS, where is it connected, how much etc, incase my solution does not work etc.
Cheers

Re: Killed my bus
Pepps VSS is the RJES one and fits in the little mounting on the back of the original speedo (where VW fit the cruise control sensor) or you can use an inline one that goes on the speedo cable...
3 wires, earth, switched power and signal....
Oh and Richard is away until 20th IIRC
