Hi Eric. I've mostly been taking photos of the furniture removal rather than the seam rust but I took a few. The 'before' photos are on this thread, Click here>>>>
https://club8090.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.p ... 3#p7358953" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and briefly describes how I was going about tackling it. There is no guarantee that how I'm going about it will work in the long run however but obviously I hope it will. Can't be worse than not doing anything whatever happens.
Here's a couple of 'after' photos. All I have to do to the inside now is waxoyl it and cover the seams in 'Shultz' sealant. I'm blocking off that lower vent too.
I'm at the primer stage outside - it needs levelling etc before I spray the top coat and seal the seams followed by more paint. I'm not exactly bothered about matching the new paint to the old at the moment as I'm strongly being drawn in the direction of a respray - the van has small areas of rust starting in several places so I'm going to do the lot anyway......
I'll take some more pictures tomorrow of the bits that haven't reached the primer stage yet......
