16" Front arch Panel

Post by slobbo »

I am trying to source an outer skin for a 16" Syncro. Anyone know who sells them? Is it the same as a 14"?
Cheers
Rob.

The front is the same, but the rear has the bit cut off, only about 15mm though.

Rob, I think the near side is deleted. If thats the one you need your best bet may be to get one off a scrapper and drill out the spot welds.

I think just kampers sell front arches. Well at least i know they used to as i have bought them in the past!
But if you want the side that has the filler in you have to weld up the hole for a syncro! :ok

I have just been on Just Kampers website and they do list both front arches!! http://www.Justkampers.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Yep seen that. It's a mates van and we only need about 20% of it. I started cleaning out the seams to re seal and paint but it has turned into a bit of a mare. Turns out the van has had accident repair before and their is a bit of filler in the side which was hiding some corrosion. Nothing major thankfully. More preventative work than real rust repair.

I'd not recommend any of the aftermarket panels I've seen. They all seem thin and poorly made. T25 that is. Theres some lovely panels around for the earlier vans.

For what you're doing, I'd just cut the piece I need off a scrapper. Phone CJ.
