Arm rests/ electric window motor.

Post by HAYDEN »

Hi, can anyone help me, I'm looking for an adjustable armrest for the passenger (left side) captins chair on my '90 caravelle, the armrest is missing and all thats left is the mounting bracket on the seat, Any colour will do.
Also looking for a electric window motor for the nearside, any advice. New ones are £££££££.
Cheers.

I used a BMW mirror motor as a replacement.
They are the same physically and also have 4 wires.
They are slightly different electrically so I simply swapped the drive motor over.

The Beemer ones have a diode across the motor terminals, the VW ones have a resistor.

They do come apart easily if you do in the correct order.
