pop-top and window insulation QUESTION

Post by Space Ghost »

Hello,

...thinking of getting/making some pop-top and window insulation............

Just Kampers sell the window insulation ... and a guy on ebay sells (or was selling) the pop-top insulation.....

windows:

http://www.justkampers.com/shop/type_25 ... ckers.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

pop-top:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... otohosting" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

......BUT...is it just this? THERMAWRAP ? cut to size?

http://thermawrap.co.uk/loft_wrap.html#" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Do any of you heroes know?

Thank you.............

Bascially yes, cut to size shaped and with a nice beading around the out side, with some suckers put on.

I made my own out of the termowarp stuff, ok they don't look as tidy as the ones you buy but at a fraction of the cost, I'm happy. I'm yet to make one for my pop top canvas

Bev made insulation for our Viking roof canvas out of thermawrap. It was on offer at our local Homebase for £15 a roll instead of £32.

It's made a whole lot of difference and keeps the kids toasty in the roof.

Yup themowrap, shaped, cut, sewn togeter with hemming as others have said....velcro at the back and preferably some poppers to hold it up at the front top.
The thermo screen mats are similarly fashioned but they have 6 to 10 suckers attached to each screen to hold them to the glass. (I've seen links on here for the suckers) ??
