1.6d - 1.9d Upgrade - Is it worth it?
I've just got my first T25 and I absolutely love it. The only thing is that it's got a 1.6d lump in and as i'm sure you're all aware is quite underpowered. I've seen loads of posts on people upgrading engines to 1.9 (1y and aaz) but i'm wondering how much difference it actually makes? Anyone care to help a noob?

My thoughts exactly.
Its only worth it if the 1,6d is bust. Otherwise, leave well alone.
Putting an AAZ in is another matter - thats definetely worth it. However, thats sooo much more hassle and expense.

the letters 'AAZ' are actually an abbreviation of a German phrase which translates roughly as 'nice but bloody expensive'
