I purchased a battery yesterday from Halfords funnily enough. Cost £94 for a 640Amp battery, much more powerful than the previous 065 that was in there...Mutts nuts! Still a bit pricey at £94...may have to do what the guy does earlier with Halfords and swap the battery in a few years time
Forgot to mention though the battery was a total motherlicker to fit (under drivers captain seat)....end up having to bend metal! Made me sweat a bit....but got it in in the end!

Try Googling ''Auto Express Battery Test'' & you will be able to read an interesting report about buying a new battery & at what price etc. They tested batteries by fully charging them, placing them in a freezer for 24 hours & then seeing how many vehicle 'starts' they would perform before they were flat. The Halfwits standard battery out performed the Halfwits calcium battery in that particular test. I can't put up a link to the page because it is too long for the 80-90 forum to cope with.

Doesn't this play on your conscience or sense of morality? And what suprises me the most is that you 'appear' to be bragging about it....I would be feeling ashamed and slightly guilty..............But hey! what do I know...I must be living on a different planet to you or from a different era when honesty and fair play were good personal traits to have.
