Help With Fitting Wheels

Post by new boy »

Hello all, 2nd time round
Iam thinking about buying a set of New/ 2nd hand wheels for my T25. Ive been offered a set of Porsche Design 90 wheels. Rim Width Front 7.5J Rear 8.52J . Rim Diameter 16 inches. These are a diffrent wheel stud patten to my T25. So will anyone know were i can get a set of Wheel Adaptors to suit. I dont want the tyers to rub on the arches. The T25 has not been lowered yet. So i will need a set of Lowering Springs. I think Just Campers sell these. I hope someone can help

:ok

i have the very same rims on my bus.

you can get cheap adaptors from someone like kinky micks happy wheel shack or i bought some h and r ones (proper german tuv approved jobs with stud conversions for ease of wheel fitting and center spigots( not cheap but the best and safe.

you will also need porsche taper alloy wheel nuts / bolts depending on if you have the stud conversion or not.

try simon at http://www.brickwerks.co.uk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; for all the bits you need.

try him for springs too. the jk ones are not the best.

avo are ok

h and r the best but again expensive.

i have - 50mm springs on my westy with these wheels and there is no problem catching arches etc and the side door passes the rear wheel no worries!!!
