If all else fails, use a brick on a window.

If you have AA, RAC cover, think they will help with locking yourself out, call and ask.

Know it's dumb question, but have you tried all doors and rear hatch just in case one is unlocked? Might get lucky.

Many years ago on holiday we happened upon a whole family locked out of their vehicle on a beach car park. They were just on the verge of breaking the window when I simply walked over to their aged Ford and opened the door with my equally worn Ford key. The moral of the story is you will be surprised how many older door locks can be opened with an old key or even a small screwdriver. Don't rely on you door lock!

truth is
how often do you lubricate your locks!
do it once a month, most common cause of this problem.
and its easily sorted
