Is it common to have a rear heater in a T25? I've got one underneath the rear seat in my 1989 right hand drive Caravelle CL.
I've noticed the water level dropping slightly in top up bottle behind the number plate (expansion tank is ok) and that there's dampness around the rear heater ie where pipe goes into the heater unit. Hard to explain but if I wiggle the pipe, water comes out the seal.
Is it just a case of doing a bit of tightening or do some parts normally need replacing due to wear?

I have a rear heater in my van too. The hoses were totally perished and one day burst turning my van into a sauna at a very astonishing rate. Doesnt smell too great either. Youre better off replacing the short length of pipe that goes between the heater and the T-piece. Tightening the hose is only a temporary measure IMO.

whoo whoo whoo !!!!!! check the valve on the side and take note of the two m8 bolts on the side of the heater matrix? well undo those and you will find a o-ring even a new one wont seal em up so put one in anyway an get some blue sealant whack some of that on to boot should stop leak mine was doin it for ages this was the only way to stop it short of taking it out !!!!!!
