Which fuel pump for GTI conversion?

Post by VWbabe »

:D Hello all

Will a Mk1 GTI fuel pump be ok to use (the one from the donor car is submersed in the tank)?

Thanks for your help.

What engine is it?

a MKII Digifant needs a relatively low pressure pump, even a T25 2.1 one would do. If the engine you are installing is a K-Jet then you need a K-Jet pump as it operates at higher pressure.

There is only a lift pump in the GTI tank - there should be a second one under the car that provides the main fuel pressure and delivery.

You could mount the whole mk2 fuel pump & filter housing under the van. If you have it.
