Schofields lower front panel repair
If anyone's elses lower front panel is like a colander where it joins the bumper reinforcement then www.ahschofield.co.uk now sell a repair piece for this obselete panel.
The quality is good as was the fit when I roughly offered it up to the van
And here's a pic for your reference

James I was told by a woman there that they didn't have either, why would I lie? It would have saved a lot of hassle if we had been able to get hold of it!!!

Never said you did??? I had a good chat with the main bloke on there stall and he said they had been making those bottom repair panels for ages, not very good that you were told they didnt have um! unless she thought you were on about the full pannel, i had to get one cut out of a scrapper tho get the part i needed, plus the bottom repait pannel to efectivly make a new from pannel complete

Yep we had to have a panel cut out of a scrapper too and then get the bottom piece fabricated because we were told that both were obsolete by Schofields.
Not a happy bunny now because as I said earlier it would have saved a lot of hassle if I had been given the correct information about the repair piece.

Anyone have any pics of this kind of panel being fitted - particularly how the ends are welded in place?
I'm assuming the top and bottom edges are spot/puddle welded? But I'm pretty ignorant of these techniques and am trying to figure out whether my skills are up to carrying out such a procedure...
