The left shock absorber (I think because the noise transmits into cab under the passenger seat) has just started to develop a wheezy noise when the van bounces or leans. Anyone one know what is happening and where I should focus my attention. Has something worn out? Handling not changed but I have been wondering if uprated shocks would noticeably improve ride.
My van squats down at the back now... would a new standard spring rectify that too?
left front is squeeky on the suspention.

Im not the first and I wont be the last
Noise could also be top wishbone inner bushes...
If exisitng shocks are pooh, then new ones would improve of course, no need to uprate necessarly, they're generally stiffer anyway.
Check that rear springs are not broken (pigtails, often at top).

if the wishbone bush is the problem and I got it fixed at a garage would it make financial sense to renew any other bits at same time or should I leave the rest alone. It had a new upper ball joint on that side 2 years back.
Would it need tracking again after a bush change?

Shouldn't need tracking, unless its been messed with, up to you, could eb done later if tyres seem to not be lasting or wearing evenly. Could maybe manually check the shocker, possibility the anti-roll-bar drop-arm thread might break if they aren't too careful, and new rubbers down there are cheap enough from GSF.
