heater fan switch

my fan only works on position 2.
anyone got any ideas what's wrong before I start pulling it apart.

worn switch, mines been like it for ages. ive found i can get it to work by positioning it between the settings though.

must fix mine actually :D

get a new switch they are the same as a golf or polo, and gsf, eurocar parts and vw sell them, about 4 quid....

change switch first, if that dont cure it, its the fan, which is a complete dash out job.......

you could proove its the swith( or not) by brisging the connections where the switch plugs in, but chances are its the switch......
