I am about to swap my 1.9 for a 2.1, can i use my 1.9 starter motor as it was only reconditioned a couple of months ago, or will i have to use the one from the 2.1?

Cheers.

I am sure your starter will be Ok. Did you change the gearbox bush when you had the old one rebuilt? If not, do it when you swop engines much easier then.

I take it then only the diesel engines had self supporting starting motors. Would I be correct?
