im sure they will do if you let them....

i havnt any nice words to say for them.. so i shall put it another way..

they make the paperwork up in such a way that you may as well not be insured as you wont get money from them..
if you pay by the month you actualy take out a loan with another company so flux get all their money and if for any reason you have a problem... you end up dealing with another company all together..

i ended up paying 4 months of insurance for a van i had sold because i was told i would be paying a direct debit but infact that was rubbish as i was paying a finance company so as Flux had their money they didnt want to give it back to the finace company.. thus the finance people said i would have to keep paying them or they would take me to court..

i have heard of many people with problems because of them..
if they have a full years payment from you then they will make sure they keep that too... even if you for som reason stop the insurance 4 o 5 months in..

i DONT RECOMEND THEM...

OTHERS MAY.. BUT I WOULD STAY WELL CLEAR..
WHY T3's.... because they are just so adictive, and having one just aint enough

nowt to do with the clearly stated rules about cancelling policy early or anything then? I might be wrong but nearly every insurance company will take the full premium if you have an accident (I've been with CIS, Eagle Star, Churchill, Hill House Hammond, Bennets, Adrian Flux, Admiral & Kwik Fit)

Been with Adrian Flux for 2 years now, also have my Golf GTi with them. When I ring them they are always very helpful, have known them to put someone who knows what they're talking about on without me asking, they were fine about the bodykit on my 1st bus, fine about the subaru van, sound about the imported syncro

Far cheaper than anyone else for everything I've asked them for.

Could always try CIS who insured my leisuredrive hi-top camper as '2 axle rigid body' 'max value £750' NOPE

Or the legendary HIC who wanted to charge me roughly double what Adrian Flux wanted on my 2.2 subaru bus becuase they'd never heard of a subaru engine fitted in a van. 'We've never heard of TSR' 'We've never heard of KEP' 'it can't be MOT'd' 'you'll need an independent engineers report before we can quote'. My a***

BUT, touch wood, I've never claimed off Adrian Flux so . . .

i had always been with Hill House Hammond... and would continue to be if they still existed..
found them alot mor helpfull than most for eg. when i was not quite 21 (month and a bit before) my insurance was up for renew and they sorted me out by giving the quote as if i was 21 (well i would be within weeks)
so that took a good bit of the price..

other things like they offered 3rd party cover on another car (not owned by you) to people over 21.. for almost free...

Adrian Flux were nothing but problems, i only went to them as Hill House Hammond stopped doing campers..
im now with NORWICH UNION as they took over Hill House Hammond´s business/brought them out, they have been good.

if there is a car thats a uk model they dont know on there system them they are happy to check and get back to you.

infact they were even helpfull on my jetta 2 door
its a mk2 jetta with a 1.4 8v inj engine plus the fact thats its 2 door+ lhd
that wasnt a problem..
all i got from Adrian Flux was "ok so its a two door, we can do that but the engine cant be orignal, must be modified"
which it isnt..

there are people that speak good and people that speak bad of Adrian Flux, ive have found there to be equal of each and thats why i wouldnt go with them..

as to the paperwork... yes i read it... and its all good for them and very little good for the customer..
if i pay for somthing then i like to get somthin for my money.. as they say you get what you pay for and you pay less with flux and get less..

when I told my insurance company about the windows tint, it wasnt a problem, as I told them it was a security thing, as I makes it harder to break a window to get in.....It may be down to how dark your tint is, as to their reply.

Also when informing insurance that I had put alloys on my Bug, they didnt put the premium up, just the excess, and by not a lot......but you DO need to tell them.

anyway, in among all this talk of insurance, lets see your Jetta. 2dr Jettas are very cool! 8)
is that a german market model? (the 1.4, not the 2dr thing)

We're with Adrain Flux and can only back up what Andy said. They know our camper has mirrored windows from the agreed valuation photos. They ask for a list of modifications and they got a list as long as your arm ... panel van converted to hi-top camper ..... No problem at all, salvage rights ? No problem.Unlimited mileage ? No problem.Insured to commute ? No problem.LPG ? No problem, just faxed a copy of the certificate from Gasure, they phoned straight back to say that was fine. Steve Shaw suggested £4500 for a value, they agreed on receipt of 20 or so photos (they only ask for 6 but I included interior, awning and the disc changer etc to cover future possible eventualities) Premium ~£200 including full European/UK breakdown cover.

Can't comment on the monthly payment issue, they do seem to push it as a preffered method of payment but we paid up front anyway. Also it's standard practice to take the full premium in the event of a claim, painfull as that may be.

If you modify your van other than trim etc you do leave yourself open to the discretion of an insurance company if you have a claim.

panel van converted to hi-top camper

You might want to double check with AF about this. They refused to insure my bus either glasses value or agreed value as it was a home conversion. No amount of detail would sway them!!!

good prices with flux (my camper is down to about £150 with them but they didn't transfer my remaining insurance from my old camper (money) or the no claims I had to hassle them for both and then they wanted me ro pay £15 to transfer them, I argued the toss and one, also If you are on monthly debits WATCH IT when you come to renew as they bump up the APR by about 10% without asking!

so all in all... if you want to panda to their every question... and are willing to check every move they make (so it dosent cost you more) then they can be cheep..

but if you want an easy to setup and control insurance then try another company..

ah as requested... by mr tee3..

Hmmm--interestin about Adrian Flux--if it sounds to good to be true--possibly it is---their premium was somwhat higher that Saga(who I'm wiv-over 50s only) but their uk/continental breakdown was much cheaper---trouble is yer dont find how good yer continental breakdown is till you need to use it--
