Hi Guys,
Can I replace the box and tail with a stainless one from bluebird myself?
The bots to the heatexchangers look very badley rusted and I'm expecting them to shear.
Should I buy the exhaust and take to a zorst bloke or should it be quite easy?
Once I start I guess I wont be able to drive it!!

The flanges on the heat exchangers where the silencer fit are not threaded .
Its good news if the bolts(studs) shear off ! (Unless you need to refit the original silencer)
I have drilled through the bolt heads/nuts ,close to the flange, to weaken them before trying to undo them - seems to work quite well.
