Westy gas tank..........

Post by shepster »

I'm sure this will annoy the purists on here but here goes, i've bought an original underslung gas tank off ebay for the princely sum of £16 with the intention of retro fitting it to my humble panel van conversion, my question is which knob/lever does what and do i need an adapter to get it filled?

If this question offends any genuine Westy owner then i can only oppologise and remind them that 'immitation is the best form of flattery' or whatever the saying is.

Hi Shepster,

This link to the Joker manual gives details of the knobs and levers etc..

http://www.80-90.co.uk/techhelp/JokerManual.doc

and yes if its an original it will probably need an adapter - Steve at Gasure does them (you'll probably need two to get enough stand-off from the original fitting)
