Faulty window washer

Post by rustyundchen »

Hi,

The drivers side window washer does not work on my van. I managed to fix it a few weeks back by using a needle to unblock the hole but that doesn't work now.

I was hoping to gain access to the pipes etc feeding the nozzle but whats the best way to do this? Having never taken off the instrument cluster or front grill I don't know whats the best approach/solution.

Many Thanks

I'm not sure that removing the front grill to gain access is possible. I live in a soft water area so not had the problem but it's likely that a build up of limescale has blocked the jet. Soaking it in vinegar should clear it.
Using ready mixed window wash (such as Halfords) will probably avoid the problem.
