Just getting the bank holiday urge to get the van ready for the summer, what's the best paint for the tinware on an A/C engine, was thinking smoothrite, but open to suggestions

Hi
I wouldn't use smoothrite, it's not for hot areas, I learn't the hard way, 15+ years ago on a beetle. It melts with heat (unless they've changed it)
Look for high temp paint (or engine paint) at a motor factors, I have found that brush on stuff lasts longer than spray.
Good luck

My only toy now is a broken T25 and a sack full of BMX bikes. How the mighty have fallen (or got sensibler!!)
