The story so far..

Okay.
Bought a single cab.

heres the work to date..

Cold start cable handle. (Missing)
Big mirrors (new)
Full service. (needed it!)
Gearbox oil change. (minging)
Front diff oil change. (manky)
Clutch. (Slipping)
Free off stiff/sticking clutch release arm.
Spigot shaft bearing. (rough)
Clutch slave cylinder. (rough)
New exhaust manifold to head gaskets. (blown, sheared stud)
New downpipe gasket. (blown)
Radius rod bushes (noisey)
Secure handbrake cables (insecure)
fitted interior light bulb (blown)
Fitted correct 10w rear side light bulbs
Fitted second hand OSR light cluster (smashed)
Fitted 50w reverse lights (trial, poss new product)
Brake and clutch pedal rubbers (missing/worn)
Cambelt and tensioner. (belt is shafted)
New wiperblades.
Pump timing. (just because)
New airbox to turbo pipe. (cracked)
Adjusted LDA to actually do something.
Fitted CB, and antenna.
Fitted new fuel flap and matched up key to ign.
Fitted re-nozzled injectors.
Repaired drivers door skin that had come adrift.
Tappets. (just because)
Front discs and pads (discs below minimum thickness)
brake fluid change (as black as you like!)
Fitted fresh strut to engine lid (old one knackered)
Matched up locks onto one key.
Fitted new engine lid lock.
Stripped interior and got busy with the pressure washer!
Fitted 4x OEM ball joints.
Fitted 4x GKN front CV joints, and fresh boots.
Fitted 2WD front springs.
Fitted packing to rear springs to even out ride height.
Removed anti roll bar.
Poly bushed lower arms.
Fitted front fog lamps.
Fitted new radiator fan switch.
New wishbone bushes.
4 wheel alignment (drives lovely now)
Work light fitted to rear of cab.
215/75/15 Colway MT's on 6.5x15 ET37 rims (with 6mm spacers)

Thats just over a months of weekends and evening.

Stuff to do in the not too distant future..

Fit spare wheel to load bed.
Carry out headlamp wiring upgrades.
Fit viscous coupling (bit stiff)
Replace rubber steering UJ's.
Work out why aux water pump and squirrel fan run at the oddest times.
Fit longer shockers! tap, tap, tap..
Fit even more CV joints! now the fronts have shut up and the ride height is now "up a bit" the rears are having a right old party. Going to use long travel HD ones.

new VC fitted today, a world of difference!
I can do corners too now!

lots quieter too, presume too much drive to front made more road noise as the tyres were fighting the road..

Thats what I call an overhaul, who did the 4 wheel alignment?? Did you do it youself?? it's something i'm gonna have to do after the front suspension bushes are sorted, but have always been a bit worried about paying Quick Fit or similar for one of their finest 17 yr old technicians to totally mess up the geometry. Had that happen on a bay window with decent tyres and dont fancy wasting the Nokian's on mine at the mo.

And 4 of them minutes was learning how to brew up.

Ive to get the pump timing and valves done on mine too actually, now that you mention it. Valves are getting noisy and its giving off white smoke in the mornings.

New injection pump fitted!

Starts, runs a million times better, dunt smoke like it did, no trail of Diesel wherever i go!
S'nice... hhhmmmm... ahhhhhh

Hope I get more than 100 miles to £20 now!

If your only using £20 per 100 miles it needs more fuel and boost.
