Looking at getting some audi A3 wheels which are 16's just wondering what tyre size/profile people are using as they don't come with tyres. Many thanks Andy C

Use car tyres at your peril
You just need a load rating of 94 or above, there are plenty of car tyres with these as long as you do not go with low profile tyres.

Saw many a car tyre shredded after being used on a van when I was doing roadside assistance............it just isnt worth the risk
94 meets requirements for rear of a t3 and exceeds the front, these tyres will have been tested way above what there rated for.
How many cars did you go to with shredded tyres? I see loads every week, nearly all down to under inflation (stupid drivers), or tread seperation which is an age thing mainly with continental or dunlop tyres.
From a safety point i would rather have car tyres which allow it go around corners rather than C rated tyres which make them slide around corners.
yat won them. They are as you say from a 53 plate A3 so are the right PCD. The person didn't know the offset but they can't be that different from other audi wheels. Just need tyres, spacers, nuts/bolts etc know
