Norway photos
Hi all.
After a bloody marvelous 3 week trip to Norway in the summer I've finally got round (with the help of my other half) to getting some photos uploaded.
They can be seen here: http://www.maraid.co.uk/xphotos/norway11/index.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Needless to say, Norway was a truly fantastic place to visit. Great scenery, campsites and very friendly folk. Beer though very expensive... we crammed 60 bottles of britains finest into the van before we set off. Supped the lot, Cheers!

Re: Norway photos
Brilliant, looks like you had a great time, and in a beautiful part of the world too.
I sense a photographer in someone there too.

Re: Norway photos
You're right Micky, I am a photographer by trade. Most of these however were taken by Jane, she's a web designer but studied photography at Edinburgh College of Art.
Emma, The ferry came in at around £1000... ouch, but well worth it. Harwich to Esjberg (Denmark) then a drive though Denmark and a short hop on another ferry to Norway.

Re: Norway photos
I can thoroughly recommend it.
A tad expensive so take plenty of food & booze with you. Very relaxed about wild camping so you can pretty much hitch up wherever you like (within reason).
Best of all is the scenery, utterly stunning.

Re: Norway photos
Some great photos!! The scenery looks stunning. What took you to that part of the world? Do either of you have any experience of visiting those countries? It's a destination I hadn't considered before but now I've seen those photos, I'm intrigued to know more. Do you have a map showing the rough route you took?
Thanks for sharing,
Tim.

Re: Norway photos
This is the route we took in Norway. I hope it inspires others to make the trip themselves.
