Great pix James, your van is looking very fine too! Funnily enough we're heading off to Dungeness this weekend so will use that spot for sure.

Also would you mind if I shared a couple of these photos on my site?

I don't know. You get out of the van for just a minute to take a photo and you have to put the crook lock on the steering wheel.

What's up? Don't you trust her driving or something??

I am surprised at you James.

Great pictures and a nice looking van too!

Could you PM the Dungy address please; I fancy a spot of Bass fishing there and could stay over in the van to catch the best tide if need be.

Ta :ok

Thanks peeps.

So, the pub camping was here http://www.thedruminn.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; near Ashford.

Dungerness wild camping - we actually parked here - N Contractor's Rd, Romney Marsh, Kent TN29, UKhttp://goo.gl/maps/x1O8U" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; - inbetween the nuclear power startion and the army base but got woken up the next day by maneuvers. So parking in Dungerness proper would be better, the cafe car park in the photo is here Tank Farm St, Romney Marsh, Kent TN29, UKhttp://goo.gl/maps/KMD6g" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; but there are other spots around there.

The Deal campsite was this http://www.kingsdowncamping.co.uk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;.

And the Kingsdown beach wild camping was here Undercliffe Rd, Kingsdown, Kent CT14, UKhttp://goo.gl/maps/cCcBy" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;.

Dan, I'd be honoured to be included on the website, but would you mind removing the reg number please?

The van has been uncampable in for a year, so it's absolute bliss to be back in her.

Wow! James, I'm impressed you got down that N Contractors Road - it's a bumpy ride isn't it? :ok Sadly it's not a particularly safe place to wildcamp however - as I'm a local sea angler who's fished there many many many times - I've heard of a number of vehicles being broken into or damaged at that location these past few years. There are a few other places at Dungeness that are much safer however :)

O and it's great you got up the lighthouse, Dungeness really does provide some spectacular views on a good day. It's a beautiful, special place for sure.

Nice pics James, reminds me when I was at Deal and we used to run from there to Kingsdown ranges all the way along that darned shingle, a real calf killer!!!

Verry nice James.
I used to be a welder making valves for the Nuclear power industry and some of my work was installed in Dungerness.
We are off to the south of France tomorrow.
