North Morte Farm. The pitches can be a bit on the sloping side but the views are stunning.

Oh, if Scotland now counts, then Big Sands at Gairloch, Fortrose Campsite by Chanoray Point outside Inverness, Applecross Campsite, are all slap bang on the seashore.

In England, another one near Weymouth, Eweleaze Campsite is a bit pricey/ eco but has direct access to the beach and allows campfires.

Ewellease says no motor homes - are they ok with vw's? It's more of a van than a motor home right!

They're fine with campervans - at least there have always been some there when ever we've visited. I think the ban on anything larger or on caravans comes out of the fact that it's a single track lane going into the site with a quite steep hill at the end.

No sign on the main road, no electric hookup, crappy old toilet and shower facilities, down a windy narrow road, on a very steep hill = no caravans and large motor homes, perfect :D

will be there this weekend.

Just don't tell everybody.... oh B****Ks

( pub just up the road :D )

Kingsdown in Deal, Kent. One of our favourites. Campfires allowed, direct beach access and a couple of nice pubs within walking distance. Stunning views (except the bongo) ;)

Just been here. Very nice. But then wild camped the next night at the beach. Ace!

Try this one.
Cornwall again.
The site itself is not much to write home about but the view and the town are tops.
