Would still recomend it, if you have kiddies in tow as the facilities and beach are excellent.

We stayed at the municipal campsite at St Martin de Re. It was by far the cheapest on the island, is about a fifteen minute walk from the harbour and has excellent cycling/walking all around.

We did the same, we found the atmosphere to be really friendly and it seemed less cramped and not set out in rows like the other sites on the island.
