Any recommendations for somewhere to stay over new year?

Seems a lot of sites are closed now, need hook up t power some heating!

The national Trust site at Wasdale head is hard to beat :wink:

I think the camping and caravanning club site at Braithwaite Fold on Windermere should be open. It's open to non members but it might have a two night minimum.

If you haven't done it yet i would recommend joining this site, it's great for searching for places to stay and you can read others reviews :ok

Wow.. Didn't know it was going to be so difficult! So many places full, got one at the c and c c site inland near Windermere.
