Sleepy spot near Plymouth

Post by Madwitch »

Anyone got any sleepy spots close to Plymouth? Early ferry so don't want to have to travel too far if possible.

I couldn't get from that site to Millbay in ten minutes on a motorbike and I think it's closed from 1st october.

You could try this one.

I don't know when the OP is traveling but the roadworks on the east side of Plymouth have been chaos for the last couple of months. Google maps reckons its a 17 minute drive but the delays could easily add 30-40 minutes to that on a bad day.

I've pulled up and stopped a couple of times on The Hoe Road -

Hopefully the link should show where on Hoe.

Worst case I think is that you can park up just before the check in at Milbay. I've seen motorhomes and campers there when we've arrived for early ferries. Loos that are open 24/7 nearby and its free. Way to go! :ok
