We don't actually go into Rouen ... not as far as the bridge and turn left down the underpass (Been there done that :shock: ) we follow the LeMans motorway signs and miss the town centre unpleasantness completely.

Bowton Lad wrote:So Patrick, I got back from France last Sunday after 3 weeks in the Limousin. I wasn't actually camping because fror the most part I was staying at the newly aquired Chateau Bowt.

So there is now a chez Bowton in Limousin. As far as I remember that is one of your favourite spots. You must be a wealthy lad to be buying a place over there at the moment. You lucky lucky b*****d! I am jealous. If invited and we travel at the same time next Summer we might just pop on our way South.
:ok

We miss Rouen centre by following the (free for a while) autoroute towards Le Mans. Besides ya wouldn't get the Heffa under that bridge ... Disco's kite buggy wheels turned as he went under in the T4 AA van :shock:

I think we've found a site that might be useful as the boy wants to go to EuroDisney for a couple of days:

http://www.campingandcaravanningclub.co ... =100001087" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Has anybody stayed there??

We will probably be going around the 10th August if anyone's over there and fancies 'Un bierre' or should that be une? Really should have paid more attention!!

How big are your boys? If they are over the age of 10 I recommend you take them to Park Asterix instead. My eldest daughter tipped us off following her French exchange trip. The girls loved it but the rides scared the knickers off us adults. Less Disney/manic and the rides are bigger for big kids. It is around the same sort of area as Disneyland Paris. Check it out too.
