The girls loved it but the rides scared the knickers off us adults. Less Disney/manic and the rides are bigger for big kids. It is around the same sort of area as Disneyland Paris. Check it out too.
The Boy will be 11 when we go, I did look at Parc Asterix as well; may do both!!

where leaving end of July Portsmouth to Cherbourg then 4 nights at l'abri courtier and 3/4 nights at le point de jour then a week at a cottage with the outlaws and then a couple of days to get back to Caen to Portsmouth, and if the weather has picked up at all a quick dash to Cornwall. first euro trip in a camper so not going too far for too long
I think it was 20 yoyos a night when we were there in August. Looked ok though....nice and safe because you are thru the admission gates.
Plus.....it was 15 yoyos to park each day.....included in the overnight fee.
Hello
We went in April last year:) I was booked in to a camp site about 30 min drive lovely place in a local village will dig the name out. How ever I ended up staying at Disney the had no clue my van was a camper and charged me €15 and I parked the other side hid in between all the large white shiny vans and stayed 3 nights never paid a penny more:) ( think its €35 a night though) there are showers toilets and a massive level car park ideal for in and out of Disney land and its magic for all ages:)
I used motorways all the way down cost a fortune in tolls used small road all the way back stopping in an aire about an hour from ferry port .
Mum to one energetic little boy, one truly amazing little girl 4 Chickens,1 VW T25:)
We're planning to travel to France in the summer. My family own a house about 30 miles from St Nazaire, and we're planning to meet up there with a couple of friends. Not quite camping in the bus, but it'll be the first long distance drive since I bought it. I'm already worried - I always fret over breakdowns, even when we go in a new car.

You're never far from a ferry port going to St. Nazaire. (Dunkerque, Calais, Boulogne, Dieppe ?, Caen, St.Malo, Roscoff) NOT perhaps the one you have a ticket for but one that can get you back to Blighty (at a price) if it all goes Pete Tong.
