There are some nice places on the north of the island up past Uig heading for Staffin and towards Portree. But there are lots of places right around the island and nobody will bother you.Enjoy your stay and if you want anymore info just ask as i work on skye a few months every year so know it very well.

Frankly, anywhere you see fit!
Depends what you want ! When we were up there mid October it was as dry as a dry thing so pulling over wasn't a problem
Go from the bridge into Broadford, past the co op garage and turn left after the chip shop onto the B8083 and follow it down past the first Loch to the larger 2nd Loch and it is fantastic! Lots of place to wild camp !

Re: Isle of Skye
Thanks guys, had an amazing time there. You were right, we pretty much had pick of anywhere to stay with no bother! Got lucky with the weather too
We stayed one night at a spot where hundreds of people have balanced rocks on top of each other all around a layby. Looked absolutely enchanting! Such a beautiful place, will have to go back soon!
