Brilliant writeup. Love reading about peoples campervan adventures. Looks great! how was the driving in italy? someone told me they were crazy.... I drove abroad for first time this year in france and spain. It was easier than i thought it would be, so considering going further afield next time.

Thanks, the Italians aren't too bad. No different to driving on the M25 really. You don't have much choice but to use the Toll roads really, if you plan on covering any distance. but they are very cheap

The Aire in Disneyland, was it the main one which is really a the car park? Its great value as you usually only pay for one nights/days parking and you can stay for a few days (if you can cope) we found showers too.

I would love to go to Italy and visit Pompei - that was one of initial plans I beleive. Still what you did was fab :ok

Yes, we was going down to Pompeii , but it just left us too little time to get back for the ferry. It would have meant driving over 200miles every day, what we ended up doing was much more relaxed. EurOdisney, yep it was the one inside, pretty good value considering. Showers and toilets, but they were quite militant with paying, 8am you'd have a note put on your window telling you to pay
