Anyone ever camped at Ynys Faig Farm?

Post by Just Dash »

Hi all,
Is anyone familiar with this site? The address is Beach Road, Fairbourne, Gwynedd, Wales. Im thinking of going for a couple of days next week, just want a nice relax & somewhere to walk the dog :-)
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated :-)

hi debbie, not camped at that site but stayed here earlier in the year in that rough area. http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/revie" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; ... revid=7950

reasonable on price, camped by bottom lakes although there is another campsite higher up. lots of fishermen but extremely dog friendly. acres and acres of woodland around the lakes to exercise dogs and bordering offas dyke. camp fires allowed. wasn't bad would go back. good luck keith :ok

the owner has a ? whippet/type cross which wanders the considerable site. if your dog is ok off the lead then obviously they are not needed. he is friendly and did come with us for a considerable walk, he seemed to be showing us the way. anyway we have two english springers and giving them a good run was never a problem.
be aware shop is crap unless fishing. was bit damp but ok ? i bet similar at the moment
